Good afternoon class,

I have decided today to chat about a product that brings a bit of a tear to my eye. Why? Well for two reasons. One being because it is so fantastic of course, and the other being because it’s oh-so underrated! And to be quite honest, I don’t know why it’s underrated (apologies to my students for starting a sentence with “and” – oops!). I mean it’s a decent brand, it’s readily available, so WHY do I never hear about it?

This magical, mysterious product is the Urban Decay ‘Revolution Lipstick’ and mine is in the colour ‘Anarchy’. These retail on http://www.beautybay.com for $27.50 AUD and can be shipped internationally.

 

The colour I have is a gorgeous blue-based fuchsia-pink and the photo does not do it any justice (You will soon find out that I not only love the colour pink, but I love pink lipsticks too). I have had many compliments (both child and adult) on this particular lipstick and I consider it to be one of my favourite lipsticks in my collection.

The formula is so, SO creamy and it glides on the lips so beautifully I can’t even begin to describe it. It feels like it is casting a spell on you as it’s being applied. It’s simply gorgeous. Not only is the formula ultra-creamy, but it is SO pigmented and opaque and glossy all-in-one! Never have I found a lipstick as glossy as this that I actually like. Usually I find they’re not very opaque or they’re sticky or they don’t last long but this is just perfection.

 

This formula will last me an entire school day on the lips – and that is no ordinary feat! In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever found a lipstick that lasts me an entire school day – so that is wonderful!

The packaging is the epitome of class and sexiness. It’s got a metallic, shine finish and it’s a fabulous colour which I literally cannot even describe! (If someone can explain that colour to me they deserve my respect!). It’s also nice a sturdy and the lipstick itself is a nice shape. Seriously, there is nothing to fault.

I haven’t got my hands on any other shades as of yet, however I can assure you there will be one popping up in a haul in the near future (hopefully)!
