What I Received From my Secret Santa ♥ | Haul

Good morning class,

Don’t you just love Secret Santa’s? I do! It’s probably one of my favourite things to do during the lead-up to Christmas time. I just love buying cute wee presents for someone and making them smile. I like secretly stalking them to find out what they love. I like overspending (I always overspend) and making them that much happier. I just love gift giving!

I participated in a Secret Santa-type project run by an amazing bloggers group on Facebook called Instabeautyau. Basically, we were paired up with someone else (also a blogger or beauty Instagrammer) who was living in a similar area to us as there are both Australians and New Zealanders on the page. This Secret Santa wasn’t quite so secret, as we both knew who we were and had to sort out the gift giving between us.

Save or Splurge? | Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed ♥

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Moonstone

Good morning class,

Today I thought I’d have a chat about the #1 lusted after highlighter of the season. The Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed. I got the shade Moonstone because I thought that would best suit my skin tone. From what I have read about the shades I think I was right. I know Champagne Pop went a bit nuts because it’s a collaboration with Jaclyn Hill but I don’t think it would have worked for me.

The Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector (BSSP I’m going to call it from now on so I don’t have to type all of that out each time) is rather pricey. At around $46 NZ from RY.com.au it’s not something you’d buy impulsively. So I thought I’d be the test dummy today (well, that’s what I told my partner) and let you know if YOU should buy it! Sounds good? Okay let’s go.

I have been wanting to wax my man’s chest for a wee while now. It’s not that I find it unattractive or anything and of course I’d love him no matter how he looks. But, why not? The hairs on his chest weren’t thick like a bearded caveman, they were sort of sporadically spaced and I quite like that smooth-chest look on a man. Plus I rather enjoyed inflicting him some pain in an evil way…

Good morning class,

Disclaimer – this is not some stupid suck-up-to-my-favourite-YouTubers-post. This is my honest opinion about something that really irritates me. 

Today I’d like to chat about something that grinds my gears. I spend a fair amount of my free time watching YouTube videos. I watch beauty, vlogs, reviews and challenges. I think that YouTube is a fantastic base for people to release their inner creativity. I wish it had been more of a thing when I was younger, although I’d imagine there’d be some pretty horrifically embarrassing videos out there of me if that were the case.
