My NEW HOLY GRAIL Mascara

Eye of Horus Goddess Mascara Amazing Before/After

Yo class (haha I need some more ways to say hello! I promise I don’t greet my real class that way).

You guys… I’ve done it. I’ve found my favourite mascara.

My mascara-hunt has been through its ups and downs and I’ve thought I’ve found my holy grail probably about 4 times. BUT I PROMISE YOU THIS IS IT.

I’ve never had a mascara where I’ve felt comfortable enough to post a close-up before/after eye picture of it’s use. Until now.

Introducing the Eye of Horus Goddess Black Mascara. ($36.66NZD).

This stuff is ridonkulous. I’ve heard people talking about it here and there over the past few years but I hate paying lots for mascara because it’s SO hit and miss. That, and mascara runs out fairly fast as well so it can get costly constantly replacing them every few months.

This little baby will be where my fortnightly pay check is going as not only do I need to repurchase it, but I also need a few back-ups (of course).

Liquid Lip Paints That Genuinely Last ALL DAY! | Mellow Cosmetics

Mellow Cosmetics Matte Liquid Lip Paint Swatches Review

Bonjour class,

Okay I need a big fat DISCLAIMER right here. I am well aware that every man and his dog are talking about Mellow Cosmetics right now. (If you haven’t heard then you can ignore this message). Yes, they very well may be getting paid for it too. Did I get sent these products for free? Yes. Did I get paid to talk about these products? No. Would I repurchase these products with my own money? YES. I think it would be pretty fair to say any raving done by myself or anyone else (paid or unpaid) is totally just and truthful. I would not be going this crazy over nothing. I pinky swear!

In fact I am going to repurchase some of the shades I didn’t get sent because SPOILER ALERT these Lip Paints are a game changer. I’m talkin’ some Colourpop-esque hype is gonna happen around here very soon.

Favourites | August 2015

August Favourites Favorites

Good morning class,

Today I’d like to share with you my favourites for the month of August. I am well aware that I don’t do these favourites posts on the regular, but that’s purely because I don’t change my favourites that often. Some of these are a little bit new as well, so either you would have just heard about them on here, or you may probably be hearing about them fairly soon!

Let’s not muck around (a line I use on the daily).

Review | Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette

tartelette palette review swatches

Good morning class,

Alleluia!   Alleluia!  Alleluia! ALLELUIA! (Jeez, you know when you type a word too much or look at a word for too long and it just does NOT look right? Yeah that totally happened with Alleluia. It is such a strange word…).

This palette is the best thing that’s ever happened to me and it’s changed my life. I PROMISE YOU. Out of all my palettes this is by far the most life-changing. I know this sounds cliched coming from a “beauty blogger” but hand-on-heart, I swear to God, this is life.

Maybelline New York New Releases July ’15 Haul

Maybelline New York The Nudes Palette Brow Drama Mascara Lipstick Fit Me Matte+Poreless

Good morning class,

Let’s chat about Maybelline! First off – Maybelline NY is one of my favourite drugstore brands! I find they are always creating decent dupes of high-end popular products. Their mascaras are on point. They have a fantastic range of lippies. I’ve heard their Master Precise liner is pretty wonderful. All-in-all, I’ve always found the products I’ve tried by Maybelline have been pretty decent for a drugstore brand.

Trust me, They’re Real! ♥

IMG_2555

Good morning class,

I have been so lucky to receive some goodies from the lovely ladies at Benefit NZ and I’ve taken a few weeks to get to know them, try them out, so that I can give you my honest opinions on them. You know that I wouldn’t review something on this blog if I didn’t like it. Whether I have received it for free, or if I had been paid to talk about it, if I didn’t like the product I would not mention it at all. I have already been approached by a brand who’s products I did not believe in. They will not be featured on this blog.

However, the products I am here to chat about today I do believe in. In fact, one of them especially is a miracle worker, a Saviour and has become like a good friend. I received the Benefit They’re Real Remover and the They’re Real Push-Up Liner two weeks ago and haven’t looked back.

Mascara Madness

Jordana Benefit They're Real Collection Does It All Too Faced Better Than Sex

From top to bottom; Too Faced ‘Better Than Sex’ mascara ($29.60AUD), Benefit ‘They’re Real’ mascara ($45 NZ), Collection ‘Does It All’ mascara ($17.49) and Jordana ‘Best Lash Extreme’ mascara ($3.59 US).

Good afternoon class,

Keeping on with the theme of comparisons on my blog currently, I thought I’d chat to you today about my favourite mascaras. Lashes are super important because we use them to flutter at potential suitors, they help us perfect our sarcastic eye roll and personally, I need to compete with some of my students because little boys seem to have the most beautiful thick, long eyelashes (unfair!). I am super picky when it comes to what I’m going to put all over my eye area and especially the concoction I am smothering all over my lashes but these four mascaras have stolen my heart and opened my eyes (literally).
