I’m typing this one with a big smile today because highlighters happen to be my all-time favourite makeup product, and in fact, they’re partly the reason why I became so makeup-obsessed in the first place! Today I’m going to chat about my favourite highlighters and why, and I’m also going to ask you to PLEASE tell me what your favourites are?! I’d love to buy some more highlighters to add to my collection, so I’d love to know what you’ve been loving!

I am well aware that I don’t do these favourites posts on the regular, but that’s purely because I don’t change my favourites that often. Some of these are a little bit new as well, so either you would have just heard about them on here, or you may probably be hearing about them fairly soon!

Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! ALLELUIA! (Jeez, you know when you type a word too much or look at a word for too long and it just does NOT look right? Yeah that totally happened with Alleluia. It is such a strange word…).
This palette is the best thing that’s ever happened to me and it’s changed my life. I PROMISE YOU. Out of all my palettes this is by far the most life-changing. I know this sounds cliched coming from a “beauty blogger” but hand-on-heart, I swear to God, this is life.

I have been wanting to wax my man’s chest for a wee while now. It’s not that I find it unattractive or anything and of course I’d love him no matter how he looks. But, why not? The hairs on his chest weren’t thick like a bearded caveman, they were sort of sporadically spaced and I quite like that smooth-chest look on a man. Plus I rather enjoyed inflicting him some pain in an evil way…

Disclaimer – this is not some stupid suck-up-to-my-favourite-YouTubers-post. This is my honest opinion about something that really irritates me.
Today I’d like to chat about something that grinds my gears. I spend a fair amount of my free time watching YouTube videos. I watch beauty, vlogs, reviews and challenges. I think that YouTube is a fantastic base for people to release their inner creativity. I wish it had been more of a thing when I was younger, although I’d imagine there’d be some pretty horrifically embarrassing videos out there of me if that were the case.

This post was highly requested so I thought I’d let you know my thoughts on the new (for NZ/Australia) Maybelline Fit Me Matte+Poreless foundation! It retails for around $23 in New Zealand and you can buy it from Beauty Bliss, The Warehouse, Farmers, Kmart etc. If you’re not in New Zealand I’m sure it will be at your local pharmacy or drugstore and it will probably be much cheaper than $23… hehe.

Today I’m back to being a ‘serial raver’ after I talked in my previous post about the ‘Products I would not repurchase’ and I wanted to take it a step further in a positive way and talk about the products I LOVE SO MUCH that I literally have or need back-ups.
I am the type of person (and I’ve said this before) that literally feels anxious when I don’t have a back-up of a favourite product. My boyfriend would totally scoff at that but it’s definitely true! Does anyone else feel this way!?
